Dave Nixon
Director of FHA/HUD Lending
Dave Nixon heads up the FHA/HUD department at GLFG and has been with the Company since 1999. Dave graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1990, the same year in which he received his Certified Public Accountant Certification.
He began his career in public accounting with the firms of KPMG Peat Marwick and Price Waterhouse, located in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent four years with the Cleveland-based Real Estate Development firm of Forest City Enterprises, prior to joining Great Lakes Financial Group. Dave has extensive experience in Real Estate Finance with a strong focus on FHA Multifamily and Affordable Housing programs.
Allan Rugg
VP Director of Sales
Allan Rugg heads up the Midwest Division of the FHA/HUD department at GLFG. He has an admirable multi-family loan origination background as well as an impressive underwriting background. Allan has extensive experience in Real Estate Finance with a strong focus on FHA Multifamily.
Allan began his career in the banking industry as an Assistant Bank Manager at NS&T and then a Corporate Services Officer at Equitable Federal Savings and Loan Association in 1980. He then advanced into underwriting and ultimately transitioned into loan origination in 1985 at Continental Realty Credit, Inc. He was most recently at AmeriSphere as a VP and Loan Originator responsible for the eastern states origination of FHA multi-family construction and permanent mortgage loans.
Paul Olson
VP Director of Sales
Paul Olson heads up the Chicago Office of GLFG and is responsible for FHA and Freddie Mac originations and brokerage of debt and equity. Paul has specialties in affordable, senior and student housing, including construction, mezzanine and permanent lending and low income, historic and new markets tax credit equity and joint venture equity.
Paul began his career in real estate finance with The Sumitomo Bank and completed stints with Banc of America Securities, Heller Financial, MMA Financial and Olson Financial Resources. Paul has an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago and a BA in History and Japanese form Carleton College.
